Energetically shifts and transformation can take a lot of energy and be draining whether it’s going on internally or within the world. So it’s important that we take some time for ourselves through simple acts of self-care. With that said, I have posted 3 simple kinds of self-care below that you can incoporate into your routine to promote balance and well being. To start, choose 1 or 2 to incorporate weekly.

WRITE & RELEASE: Take time daily for yourself whether in the morning or evening to journal your feelings. Use this as an opportunity to release any pent up emotions or stressful thoughts so they do not take you over and overwhelm your thoughts and emotions.

CLEANSE & RESTORE: Take a bath with Epsom salt and essential oils such as lavender, rose and frankincense. Feel your body and soul sinking into the bath as you detox your body and release any stresses as you settle in for the night.

GROUND IN NATURE: Take time daily to be outside and present with nature. If you can, try the practice of earthing. Put your hands or feet in the dirt or grass and allow the healing electromagnetic waves from the earth to fill up your body with the healing and grounding opportunities from the earth . Or go on a walk in nature, turn off your phone and allow nature’s subtle but beautiful characteristics to fully relax and restore you. Not only is it good for your spirit, studies show that there are many health benefits to be gained by spending precious minutes in nature.

When you are able to allow your internal ecosystem to thrive- its true beauty and strength will show through.
